Antonio Sisneros returned in 1693 with his wife Josefa Lujan and their family. He was Alcalde Mayor of Zuni in 1706, when he was mortally wounded by Apaches, given the last Sacraments by the Padre, and buried there on August 9. His wife appears to have been at least a half-sister to Maria Lujan (Ruiz Caceres). Wife of her brother-in-law Sebastian Martin. Their three children were named in 1727 as follows. Esmerigildo, Phlipe Neri (sometimes written "Nereo"), and Juana. Felipe was married to Maria Del Castillo in 1728. Juana had married Juan De Santisteban in 1716. (Origins pg 289) Remarks;Chaves states Maria Lujan to be a half-sister to Josefa;Josefa and Maria were sister;the Lujan surname comes from her step-father Augstin Lujan
Antonio married Josefa Duran Y Lujan, daughter of Miguel Lujan and Elena Ruiz Caceres, on 1 Jan 1695 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. (Josefa Duran Y Lujan was born about 1664 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.)
