"Francisco Perez Granillo appears in New Mexico as early as 1617 in the capacity of clerk of the colonial gevernment. In 1626 he was a captain; with another captain, Tomas de Albizu, he was reprehended by Governor Eulate for singing in the Santa Fe church choir. His wife's name is not known." (Origins, p.88) |
