bullet  General Notes:

I have found no evidence conclusively linking Eusebio Martin, the husband of Maria Antonio Armijo, to Antonio Martin and Catalina Villalpando, as their son. But, the following circumstantial evidence shows quite strongly that such was the case:

Antonio and Catalina did have a son named Eusebio whom they baptized on 14 Nov. 1729 in San Juan. This birthdate would make him about the right age to be Antonia Armijo's husband. In the 1790 Census, Eusebio and Antonia are found living in the jursdiction of San Juan and Eusebio is listed as 67 years old, making 1723 his birth year.

Antonio and Catalina are known to have lived at Embudo as recorded in the baptism of their daughter, Manuela dela Cruz. Eusebio and Antonia also lived at Embudo, baptizing some of their children at San Juan and others at nearby Picuris.

There are no other Eusebio Martins appearing in the church records in the San Juan area in the late 1700s.
